Types of Acupuncture
Our acupuncture services include body acupuncture, auricular acupuncture and neuro- acupuncture whenever is appropriate.
The more general acupuncture is often called body acupuncture.
Although the scalp has numerous traditionally-identified acupuncture point along with the several major meridians, the modern neuro-acupuncture differs from the traditional acupuncture therapy, though it may also combine with body acupuncture. It is a new system to be specially useful for neurological disorders relating to the central nerve system. A Global Dragon TV Special Report on Neuro Acupuncture can be seen on: https://youtu.be/wjX9MbZkS7I
The fee for doing neuro-acupuncture is different than regular body/scalp acupuncture. A patient consent form for the neuro-acupuncture service and financial responsibility will need to be signed prior to performing this service as insurance policies do not cover neuro-acupuncture.
